Job summary

KLOSE INDUSTRIAL SERVICE SDN. BHD. is seeking a Field Service Technician/Engineer to install, commission, troubleshoot and hand over machines at customer sites, with nationwide and international travel.

The role includes repairing and maintaining machinery, basic PLC programming, stock control for spares, reporting and documentation, plus weekend/night shifts when required. Extensive medical insurance is provided for you and your children.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Electrical/Electronics/Mechatronics.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant Field Service experience.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot and handover machines at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot, repair and maintain existing machinery at customer sites.
• Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting.
• Administrative tasks such as stock keeping for spares, reporting, documentation.
• Flexibility to support ad-hoc assignments, including weekends and nights.
• Ability to travel nationally and internationally for extended periods.

Qualifications & experience

Min. Diploma or higher in Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics field

Min 5 years of relevant work experience as Field Service Technician / Engineer or similar

Tasks & responsibilities

Install, commission, troubleshoot and handover of machines at customer site

Troubleshoot, repair and maintain existing machinery at customer site

Basic PLC programming and troubleshooting

Administrative tasks, such as stock keeping for spares, reporting, documentation, etc.

Flexibility to support ad-hoc assignments, also at weekend, night, etc.

Ability to travel national and international for extended periods of time
