Job summary

U-Corp Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a Service Engineer to support installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of industrial machinery focused on food processing and packaging equipment. You will start as an Assistant Service Engineer and progress to a Service Engineer as you gain independent project handling capability.

The role involves travel within Malaysia and overseas, with regular hours and opportunities for overseas projects for fast learners and high performers.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience with industrial machinery.
• Experience with PLC/SCADA or instrumentation is a plus.
• Good command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of equipment.

Job description

We are looking for a Service Engineer to join the team and support the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and servicing of industrial machinery, with a focus on food processing and packaging equipment.

You will start as an Assistant Service Engineer and as you gain experience and are able to handle projects independently, you will progress into a Service Engineer.

Key responsibilities

Install and commission industrial machinery at client sites.

Perform maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting of equipment.

Train client plant operators on the proper operation of machinery.

Conduct site visits and provide technical support to clients.

Prepare service and visit reports after each assignment.

Travel within Malaysia and overseas according to project requirement.

Working Hours:

Monday - Friday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Saturday: 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

Requirements

Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.

Minimum 1-2 years of experience in industrial machinery.

Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, instrumentation, or industrial automation is an advantage.

Good command of English, Mandarin, and Bahasa Malaysia.

Mandarin proficiency is an advantage as the role involves supporting clients from China and Taiwan.

Willing to travel within Malaysia and overseas

Salary is negotiable based on years of related experience
