Job summary

JTRON Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide on-site technical support and maintenance for customer electrical and electronic systems in Penang. The role includes installation/de-installation of handlers and SOC Tester systems, plus preventive maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure optimal product performance.

This 1-year contract position offers mileage, transport allowances, a completion bonus, medical benefits, and potential conversion to permanent staff

Qualifications

• Provide field technical support on-site at customers’ semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
• Handle handler installation, de-installation, PM, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Install/De-install SOC Tester systems and perform calibration tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide field technical support on-site at customers’ semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
• Carry out handler installation/de-installation, PM, upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Install/de-install SOC Tester systems and perform external traceability calibration and troubleshooting.
• Perform system maintenance and PC workstation support.
• Prepare service reports and provide feedback on technical issues to ensure high service quality.

About the role

Join JTRON Technology (M) Sdn Bhd as a Field Service Engineer(1 year contract) based in Penang. In this position, you will be responsible for providing on-site technical support and maintenance for our customers' electrical and electronic systems. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of our cutting-edge products. You will be convert to our permanent staff after one year contract finish

Primary Role & Responsibility

• Provide field technical support on-site at customers’ semiconductor manufacturing facilities.
• Responsible for Handler installation and de-installation, handler preventive maintenance (PM), handler options upgrade and Handler troubleshooting.
• Responsible for SOC Tester systems installation and de-installation, external traceability calibration, system options upgrade and system troubleshooting.
• System maintenance & PC workstation support.
• Prepare Service reports and provide feedback on technical issues with regards to Actively engage with customers to ensure highest level of service commitment and quality.
• Submit Service Reports to Sales Admin for closure whenever task is completed.
• To carry out all technical job functions related Company’s business dealings with, and obligations to, the Company’s existing and potential customers, from time to time and also, when such requirement changes.

Secondary Role & Responsibility (when not onsite)

• To support any ad-hoc duties when is required.
• To contribute and participate in Jtron internal projects (if any).
