Job summary

Rieckermann Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer to deliver on-site technical service and maintenance for industrial equipment across Malaysia. You will install, reinstall and perform preventive maintenance, report on operations, and advise on spare parts while building long-term customer relationships.

You should have at least 5 years of mechanical or electrical experience, a Bachelor's in Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering, good English, and willingness to travel to sites on short

Key Duties

The Field Service Engineer is responsible to provide timely and proper technical service support to Rieckermann customers within Malaysia. This includes installations, reinstallations and preventive maintenance for conventional machines.

Technical Service - Provide installation, maintenance and repair of industrial equipment and solutions for customers.

Reporting - Ensure accurate reporting concerning operations and services

Spare Parts - Recommend spare parts to customers

Customer Relationship - Develop, establish, and maintain long-term, positive relationships with customers

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, skilled in mechanical and electrical work, programming know-how is an added advantage

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronic engineering, or equivalent

Preferences for those who handled complex machinery and equipment from Pharmaceutical industry

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Goal-oriented, dynamic, and high sense of responsibility

Able to work well under pressure

Able to work self-reliantly

Team and disciplined working spirits

Professional appearance and demeanor

Excellent written and verbal English skills

Readiness to travel to site and on short notice
