Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering or related field.
• No prior work experience required; training provided.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and manuals.
• Willingness to travel to field sites in Asia.

Responsibilities

Wynntech Sdn Bhd is seeking a talented Field Equipment Engineer to join our team in Kulim Hi-Tech Park, Kedah. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of a wide range of field equipment across our engineering operations.

What you'll be doing

Install, configure, and commission field equipment such as sensors, automation systems, and control devices (including PLC, C++ etc.)

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and repairs on field equipment to ensure optimal performance

Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with field equipment, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, and relocations

Maintain detailed records of all field equipment, including maintenance history and performance data

Provide technical support and guidance to operations teams on the proper use and care of field equipment

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in field equipment management

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field

No prior work experience required — this is a new industry for us, and we will provide comprehensive training

A strong willingness to learn and grow in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field equipment

Basic ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and documentation (training will be provided)

Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and find innovative solutions

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

Willingness to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities in Asia country

A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various field sites as needed
