Job summary

OCK Group of Companies in Selangor is seeking a field technician to troubleshoot network equipment and customer premises gear, perform electrical system maintenance, and install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure. You will read technical manuals and drawings, handle basic repairs, perform site configurations, and ensure high-quality service to customers.

A Diploma or Certificate in Electronics/Electrical or Telecommunications is required, with CIDB/NIOSH a plus and a valid driver’s

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot network equipment and customer premise equipment.

• Troubleshoot issues with cable network and perform basic repairs.
• Provide high-quality service to all customers.
• Handle trouble tickets/dockets and perform test/speed calls.
• Configure sites.

Job description

This role involves performing troubleshooting on network equipment and customer premise equipment, conducting maintenance of electrical systems, and installing, maintaining, and repairing cable infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

Perform troubleshooting on network equipment as well as customer premise equipment

Conduct maintenance of electrical systems

Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure

Perform maintenance on existing cabling systems

Troubleshoot issues with cable network

Handle basic repairs and maintenance

Provide high-quality service to all customers

Perform trouble ticket (TT)/Docket

Perform test call/speed call

Configuration at sites

About you

SPM / Diploma in Electronic/Electrical Engineering / Certificate with major in Telecommunication or other related fields

WAH/ CIDB/ NIOSH certification is a plus

Valid driver's license with a clean driving history

Experience using hand and electrical tools

Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
