Job summary

Motorola Solutions Malaysia in Penang is offering a New Grad position within its Public Safety IT Services team. You will contribute to the design and implementation of management, service and maintenance solutions for customer networks, with training and certifications provided during your career.

You will provide remote and on-site support for deployed systems, including after-hours work, while developing expertise in core systems and devices through hands-on experience and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent discipline.
• Internship/project experience preferred in Public Safety or mission-critical operations.
• Data analytics, Automation, Cybersecurity, NOC & SOC, Customer Support, Maintenance lifecycle management.
• Strong troubleshooting knowledge on network.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote and on-site support for deployed systems with service teams and vendors.
• On-site support and out-of-hours work as required.
• Support incident response and root cause analysis.
• Create value-added services and optimise processes using automation, data analytics and best practices.
• Work directly with customers to resolve issues and act as the voice of the customer.
• Training and exposure to core systems and devices to develop relevant expertise.
