Ked Tech Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our Melaka-based team in Malaysia. The role focuses on providing on-site technical support for our electrical and electronic cleaning equipment solutions, conducting product demonstrations, and training customers.

The ideal candidate has a diploma or degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and at least 3 years of field experience.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in field application engineering or technical support in the engineering industry.
• Strong understanding of electrical/electronic engineering and troubleshooting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to liaise with customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support and troubleshooting for customers and products.
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and seminars for customers.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to address complex technical issues and develop solutions.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and support activities.
• Prepare and translate technical documents such as manuals and spare parts lists.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in electrical/electronic engineering.

Ked Tech Pte Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Field Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Field Application Engineer, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and expertise to our customers, ensuring the successful implementation and optimization of our state-of-the-art electrical and electronic cleaning machine engineering solutions. This full-time position is based in Melaka, Malaysia, offering you the opportunity to work in a vibrant and collaborative environment.

What you’ll be doing

• Providing on-site technical support and troubleshooting to customers, ensuring the smooth operation of our products and systems
• Conducting product demonstrations, training sessions, and seminars to educate customers on the effective use of our engineering solutions
• Collaborating with the engineering and sales teams to address complex technical issues and develop customized solutions
• Maintaining detailed records of customer interactions and technical support activities
• Prepare and translate technical documents such as equipment manuals, spare parts list, etc
• Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical and electronic engineering

What we’re looking for

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a field application engineering or technical support role within the engineering industry
• Strong understanding of electrical and electronic engineering principles, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with customers and cross-functional teams
• Able to work independently
• Problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and implement innovative solutions
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed (mainly central and southern Malaysia). Required to come to Penang Branch Office for work meeting or training purposes
• Proficiency in Chinese, English and Bahasa Malaysia. We are seeking candidates proficient in Chinese language to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients and China colleagues.
