Jora Malaysia seeks an experienced Maintenance Lead to drive preventive and corrective maintenance of ASRS systems in Penang. You will supervise technicians, perform root cause analyses, and ensure equipment and safety standards are upheld while coordinating with customers on daily operations.
The role requires a strong background in ASRS maintenance, 5+ years of relevant experience, and a customer-focused approach. Penang-based position with a focus on proactive maintenance and SLA adherence.

Drive continuous improvement towards zero breakdowns of the Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) machines and equipment by effectively implementing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance programmes in collaboration with the customer's Production Department. Ensure all production equipment is maintained in optimal operating condition.
Assist the Maintenance Manager in the planning, coordination, and execution of daily Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance activities
Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians
Conduct Root Cause Analysis to identify the underlying causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence
Maintain maintenance schedules for ASRS equipment and building facilities, manage spare parts inventory, and ensure equipment maintenance records are kept up to date
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and operational procedures
Lead the technician team in delivering all maintenance services in accordance with the customer's Service Level Agreement (SLA), including timely escalation of incidents, reporting to the monitoring centre within the stipulated timeframe, and submission of written incident reports within 24 hours
Communicate and engage closely with customers on daily operational matters, including equipment breakdowns and preventive and corrective maintenance activities, while effectively managing customer expectations
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
Minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience in a similar field
Hands-on experience in ASRS equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and customer-focused attitude
Candidate must be willing to work in Penang
