Job summary

Kee Song Food in Pontian, Johor is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee building facilities, M&E equipment, and processing machinery, ensuring safe and efficient operation.

You will perform preventive maintenance, attend to breakdowns, manage spare parts inventory, document maintenance records, coordinate with suppliers, and assist with installation or commissioning as required. Bahasa Malaysia and basic English are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in building maintenance, M&E systems, or industrial machinery maintenance is an advantage.
• Minimum SPM / Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, or related technical field preferred.
• Able to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and basic English.
• Responsible, proactive, willing to learn, able to work independently and as a team, and willing to work in shift or overtime when required.
• Basic troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and understanding of mechanical/electrical systems.

• Maintain proper maintenance records, checklists, and reports.
• Support continuous improvement and housekeeping activities within the maintenance area.
• Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment when required.
