Manage, sustain and improve all relevant maintenance management systems
Oversee Maintenance, Store & Purchasing dept.
Effectively delegate any maintenance issues to be resolved on each shift and small projects to the right skills in the team, planning and managing effective works
Develop a Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule, ensure full preventative maintenance is carried out, plan in missed maintenance activities, and lead the team to deliver effectively
Create and implementation of best practice maintenance vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
Recruit, lead, coach and support maintenance team.
Ensure adequate training and qualification of mechanic to build their maintenance capabilities.
Ensure proper maintenance and recovery of PM/machine post maintenance, enabling highest possible machine uptime for production.
Ensure proper maintenance of procedure and task performed accordingly
Ensure adequate spare parts availability to reduce equipment downtime
Optimise equipment according to standard procedure, enhancing performance and product quality
Perform root cause analysis to resolve problems and effectively prevent issue recurrence.
Examines reports for accuracy on each vehicle and piece of equipment repaired; writes reports on vehicles and equipment repaired.
Checks all repair work performed in workshop for completeness. This includes physical inspections and road tests before vehicle is turned back to user departments.
Maintains a complete inventory system through recording of all expenditures of each vehicle, maintenance equipment, fuel, repair parts, supplies, etc
Input and hold responsibility for maintenance budgets
Work closely with Operations Dept to develop best in class maintenance strategy and contribute to potential cost saving project
Responsible to the Maintenance, store & purchasing operation in accordance with ISO & company policies and procedures.
Perform any other tasks and assignments as directed by management from time to time.
Candidate must possess minimum Diplomain Automotive / Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 year of working experience in logistic maintenance operation
Good command in Mandarin/Malay/English to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
Work located at Simpang Pulai, Perak.
