• Willingness to work on-site in Seberang Perai with shift or weekend work when required.

Role Description

The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of production equipment and facilities in an on-site role based in Seberang Perai. This full-time position includes planning and executing preventive maintenance, diagnosing equipment issues, and performing corrective repairs to minimize downtime. The role involves coordinating with production and engineering teams to improve equipment performance, supporting new equipment installation and commissioning, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. The Maintenance Engineer will also monitor spare parts inventory, implement safety and compliance standards, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall equipment effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair to troubleshoot, service, and restore production machinery and supporting systems.
• Candidates should possess Maintenance Engineering and Preventive Maintenance skills to plan, schedule, and execute maintenance programs that extend equipment life and reduce unplanned downtime.
• Candidates should possess Electrical Maintenance skills to diagnose and repair electrical components, wiring, control panels, and related systems safely and effectively.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field, with experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• Knowledge of safety standards, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies, with the ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Seberang Perai and support shift or weekend work when required.
