Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, building surveying or related field; 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in facilities management.
• Familiar with local laws & regulations governing property maintenance, building management, statutory compliance and licenses.
• Comfortable with reading and applying contract terms and performance metrics to ensure service quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building operations, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Conduct inspections to ensure standards are met and supervise facilities staff to maintain operational efficiency.
• Manage and monitor service contracts and vendors to ensure work aligns with contract terms.
• Optimize facility operations, energy efficiency, and infrastructure maintenance to meet sustainability goals.
• Ensure the technical team is properly trained and equipped to meet operational needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption of operations.
• Lead project management and costing for building modifications within budget and requirements.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal regulations, and industry standards to protect assets and reputation.
• Act as Facility Verifier to ensure systems, processes, and contractor work meet quality standards and service agreements.
• Maintain open communication with internal stakeholders, management, and external vendors to sustain continuous facility operations.
