Job summary

The successful candidate will inspect facilities, supervise staff, optimize energy use, and lead project costing for modifications while ensuring adherence to local laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, building surveying or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 5 years supervisory experience in facilities management or engineering operations.
• Hands-on knowledge of all technical aspects of building and facilities maintenance.
• Familiar with local laws and regulations governing property maintenance.
• Understanding of contract conditions and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee building operations, ensuring safety, functionality, and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct inspections to ensure standards are met and supervise facilities staff for efficiency.
• Manage and monitor service contracts and vendors aligned with contract terms.
• Optimize facility operations, energy efficiency, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Ensure the technical team is trained and equipped for operational needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly to minimize disruption.
• Develop and execute business plans aligning with company goals and budgets.
• Lead project management and costing for building modifications.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, laws and industry standards.
• Act as Facility Verifier to meet quality standards and service agreements.
• Maintain open communication with stakeholders and external vendors.
