Job summary

Technology Bucket is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee daily operations and maintenance of building services and infrastructure in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will ensure facilities run efficiently with minimal downtime, coordinating multiple contractors and managing budgets.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in a related field and 5–7 years of facilities management experience, preferably in industrial or logistics settings.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services or related field.
• Minimum 5–7 years of facilities management experience in industrial, logistics, commercial, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience managing multiple contractors and building services.
• Fire safety officer certification is an advantage.
• Knowledge of warehouse operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and maintenance of building services and infrastructure.
• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities.
• Monitor service levels and ensure timely closure of maintenance work orders.
• Manage maintenance of hard services including Electrical systems (MSB, DB, transformers, UPS, generators), HVAC, Fire Protection and Fire Alarm, Plumbing and sanitary systems, Water supply and pumping, BMS, Access Control and CCTV, loading bays, dock levellers, roller shutters, warehouse equipment, and Lighting Systems.
• Coordinate and supervise outsourced contractors and service providers; review contractor performance against KPIs and SLAs.
• Develop and monitor preventive maintenance schedules; ensure maintenance is completed according to approved plans.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements and statutory regulations; coordinate inspections with authorities.
• Obtain quotations, evaluate vendors, and raise purchase requisitions.
• Track maintenance costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
