Job summary

IOT Manufacturing Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Facilities Manager to own and lead factory facilities, M&E maintenance, utilities, and EHS/compliance, while coordinating contractors and projects. You will drive energy efficiency, oversee preventive/corrective maintenance, ensure equipment reliability, and manage budgets and daily operations with BOMBA/DOSH/JKKP compliance.

Job description

We are looking for a Facilities Manager to provide strong ownership and leadership of factory facilities, M&E maintenance, utilities, EHS/compliance, contractors, projects and authority matters.

Key responsibilities

Manage and oversee factory facilities operations, including M&E systems, utilities, building maintenance, and preventive/corrective maintenance.

Lead the Facilities team and manage contractors, vendors, service agreements and facility budgets.

Ensure compliance with EHS requirements, BOMBA, DOSH/JKKP and other statutory requirements.

Manage facility improvement and expansion projects.

Drive energy efficiency, BMS/IoT monitoring and facility digitalisation initiatives.

Ensure equipment reliability, safety, proper documentation and timely closure of maintenance/work orders.

About you

Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Facilities Management or a related discipline.

Minimum 5-8 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Strong hands-on knowledge of M&E systems, preventive maintenance, utilities and building services.

Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and contractor management.

Able to independently lead the Facilities team and manage daily operations.

Familiar with BOMBA, DOSH/JKKP and other Malaysian authority requirements.

Experience in energy management, BMS/IoT, facility digitalisation and improvement projects is preferred.
