Job summary

Lotuss Stores Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee all maintenance and facilities activities across stores in Peninsular Malaysia.

You will lead a team of technicians, coordinate preventive maintenance with business partners, ensure compliance certificates are renewed on time, manage CAPEX projects, and drive energy-saving initiatives while safeguarding safety for staff and customers.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in facilities management.
• Experience in retail, manufacturing, property or building facilities maintenance.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Manage all maintenance and facilities activities in stores.
• Lead a team of technicians to minimise store disruption.
• Coordinate with business partners to ensure preventive maintenance is completed.
• Liaise with local authority to renew compliance certificates on time.
• Prepare weekly and monthly KPI performance reports.
• Manage CAPEX projects assigned to stores.
• Oversee HVAC, refrigeration, lifts, travellators, firefighting and building infrastructure equipment.

Job description

Manage all maintenance & facilities related activities in stores.

Accountable for building maintenance, infrastructure & ensure all equipment are in a safe condition for store trading.

Coordinate with business partners to ensure all preventive maintenance is done effectively. Conduct safety briefing to all business partners

Liaise with local authority to renew all compliance certificate on time.

Manage a team of technicians to ensure no interruption to store operation.

Solve day to day opportunities & manage online maintenance portal effectively.

Manage reactive repair budget & escape any risk to Area Facilities Manager.

Lead energy saving activities & implement best practices in stores.

Communicate effectively to all stakeholders in store.

Prepare weekly & monthly KPI performance report.

Manage all CAPEX projects assigned to store.

Responsible for all safety initiatives & ensure safe working environment for colleagues, customer, & tenants.

Coach, train & empower technicians to deliver the best.

Accountable for HVAC, refrigeration, lift & travellators, firefighting & building infrastructure related equipment.

Responsible to manage & execute any other projects assigned by superior.

Requirements:

Possess A0/A4/ BO Chargeman Certificate with at least 5 years’ experience in facilities management.

Experience in retail, manufacturing, property or building facilities maintenance.

Good attitude & strong leadership skills.

Good troubleshooting skills will be added advantage.

KPI & result oriented mindset.

Good communication skills to manage all stakeholders.

Basic knowledge in Microsoft office. (Excel/ PP/ Word)
