Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in a maintenance supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance programmes.
• Experience managing budgets and controlling costs.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Technical proficiency in electrical, plumbing and mechanical building systems.
• Familiarity with health, safety and environmental regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all maintenance activities across facilities and equipment.
• Develop, implement and monitor preventative maintenance programmes.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and respond promptly to maintenance issues to minimise downtime.
• Supervise, train and mentor maintenance staff, ensuring high standards of workmanship and safety compliance.
• Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, track expenditures and control costs.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment and systems to identify potential issues.
• Maintain detailed maintenance records, documentation and reports for all work completed.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations and standards.
• Liaise with external contractors and vendors for specialist maintenance services as required.
• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures to improve operational standards.
