Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Maintenance & Operations Manager to lead a team responsible for mechanical and electrical operations across a facility or portfolio. You will coordinate daily activities, supervise staff, and manage contractors to ensure reliable, compliant performance.

The role emphasizes overseeing operation budgets, KPIs, and continuous improvement while aligning with CBRE RISE values and client needs in Batu Kawan, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Membership of an Engineering professional body preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and performance management preferred.
• Ability to guide complex information and set performance expectations.
• Strong leadership to drive quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees and conduct performance evaluations.
• Coordinate daily activities and set schedules for the team.
• Assist the team with operations and maintenance issues.
• Direct contractors and engineers on maintenance aspects.
• Supervise facility controls and asset management systems.
• Enforce maintenance standards and budget considerations.
• Schedule maintenance per customer requirements and KPIs.
• Drive continuous improvement and cross-functional collaboration.
• Integrate with clients for changes and new requirements.
