Job summary

CBRE Asia Pacific is seeking a Facilities Coordinator in Malaysia to work with clients, vendors and contractors to ensure facility tasks and work orders are completed. This role sits within the Facilities Management function, supporting the Property Managers with repairs and investment planning.

You will follow procedures, manage work orders, collect reports, and maintain documentation, with close supervision.

Qualifications

• Diploma up to 2 years of job-related experience or fresh graduate encouraged to apply.
• Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
• Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Work with landlords, tenants, and service providers to ensure procedures, policies and reporting formats are followed.
• Acknowledge client inquiries and collect work orders.
• Collect information reports to determine performance and progress status.
• File work orders, proposals, department files and vendor paperwork.
• Monitor activities outside the building, including waste disposal and recycling.
• Follow instructions, correspondence and memos, asking clarifying questions when needed.
• Respond to inquiries or complaints from clients, co-workers and supervisors.
• Follow defined procedures to solve straightforward problems under supervision.
• Execute duties per defined procedures and contribute to overall output.
• Support with tasks related to repairs and investment planning under guidance.
