Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a capable Facilities Coordinator (Technical) in Kuala Lumpur to oversee cross-functional activities with clients, vendors and contractors, ensuring work orders are completed on time and to specification.

You will coordinate repairs, review work order data, and prepare performance reports for management while maintaining accurate vendor documentation and seeking improvements to current processes to boost team efficiency.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering or building maintenance.
• Minimum 4 years in facilities management/ coordination.
• Strong knowledge of processes, procedures, systems in the role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the point of contact for escalated communications between landlord, tenants, and service providers.
• Allocate work orders and schedule repairs from requests.
• Review work order data and present performance and progress reports to management.
• Review all vendor paperwork for accuracy and compliance.
• Inspect rooms and furniture to identify repair or renovation needs.
• Inspect and fix minor malfunctions in office equipment.
• Research new services and appliances to improve operations.
• Analyze data to solve complex problems and suggest new techniques.
• Support and coordinate with related teams to improve efficiency.
• Suggest process improvements to enhance team efficiency.
