Job summary

E CONST DEVELOPMENT SDN BHD is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join the construction team in Seremban. The successful candidate will supervise daily site activities, coordinate workers and subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure works meet drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

The ideal candidate must have hands-on site supervision experience and be able to effectively manage daily operations on construction sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in construction site supervision.
• Experience supervising workers and subcontractors.
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of site safety requirements.
• Willing to work at construction sites and overtime when required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities on site.
• Coordinate and supervise workers, subcontractors, and site activities.
• Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and instructions.
• Monitor daily work progress and report updates to the Site Engineer / Project Manager.
• Ensure work is completed according to the project schedule.
• Check workmanship and ensure construction quality meets required standards.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment required for site activities.
• Monitor subcontractors and ensure work is carried out properly and on schedule.
• Identify and report site issues, delays, defects, and technical problems.
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Conduct regular site inspections.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe working conditions at the site.
• Ensure workers comply with site safety rules and procedures.
• Assist with site measurements and checking completed works.
• Maintain daily site records and progress reports.
• Monitor material deliveries and usage.
• Assist in resolving day-to-day site issues.
• Perform other site-related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in construction site supervision is REQUIRED
• Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor in the construction industry is REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of construction site activities and work procedures
• Experience supervising workers and subcontractors
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Good knowledge of construction workmanship and quality requirements
• Good understanding of site safety requirements
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Able to work independently and supervise site activities effectively
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work under pressure
• Willing to work at construction sites and work overtime when required
