Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Site Engineer / Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction site operations, ensuring progress aligns with plans, quality standards, and safety requirements. The role provides on‑the‑job learning and growth in construction management.

You will supervise activities, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, participate in site inspections, and assist in reporting while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

  • Fresh graduate or 1–2 years of construction experience.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the construction field.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and building codes is a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and schedules.
  • Ensure work follows safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.
  • Participate in regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and safety.
  • Communicate with site/project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors and suppliers to support project execution.
  • Coordinate daily activities of construction crews and delivery of materials.
  • Assist in reporting progress and maintaining site records; raise incidents promptly.
  • Identify potential on-site challenges and support timely resolutions.

The Site Engineer / Site Supervisor will assist in overseeing and supporting daily operations of construction sites, ensuring projects progress smoothly and meet quality and safety standards. Site Supervision / Management:

Assist in supervising construction activities to ensure compliance with project plans and schedules.

Support the team in ensuring all work follows safety regulations, building codes, and company policies.

Coordination:

Communicate with site/project managers, engineers, architects, subcontractors, and suppliers to support smooth project execution.

Help coordinate daily activities of construction crews and delivery of materials.

Quality Control:

Assist in checking that construction work meets quality standards.

Report any issues or discrepancies to supervisors for resolution.

Safety Compliance:

Support the implementation of safety protocols and procedures.

Participate in safety meetings and help ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Reporting:

Assist in preparing progress reports and maintaining records of site activities.

Report any incidents or delays to supervisors promptly.

Identify potential challenges on-site and seek guidance to resolve them.

Certifications

Working Conditions

  • The Site Supervisor may be required to work extended hours, including weekends, to meet project deadlines.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods.
