Job summary

Fada Construction Sdn. Bhd., a reputable Johor-based contractor, invites applications for a Site Supervisor with a strong construction background to oversee daily site operations, coordinate manpower, and ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety standards.

The role requires Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field; candidates must be Malaysian citizens, with driving license and willingness to travel to project sites, preferably residents of Johor, including Kluang.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related construction field (mandatory).
• Malaysian citizen (compulsory).
• Willing to travel to different project sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction workers, site teams, and subcontractors.
• Monitor safety regulations (OSHA, CIDB) and enforce compliance.
• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Plan daily work activities, schedule tasks, and track progress against milestones.
• Conduct regular inspections of structural works, materials, equipment, and workmanship quality.
• Oversee site housekeeping, welfare facilities, and safe work procedures.
• Identify and resolve site issues promptly.
• Prepare and update daily site reports and photo progress for the Project Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate construction workers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution

• Monitor and enforce compliance with construction safety regulations (OSHA, CIDB requirements, PPE usage)

• Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and method statements

• Plan daily work activities, schedule tasks, and track progress in line with project milestones

• Conduct regular inspections on structural works, site materials, equipment, and workmanship quality

• Oversee site housekeeping, welfare facilities, and adherence to safe work procedures

• Identify and resolve site issues, discrepancies, or technical challenges promptly

• Prepare and update daily site reports, photo progress, and reporting to the Project Manager

Job Requirements

• Malaysian citizen (compulsory)

• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related construction field (MANDATORY).
  Candidates without relevant education will not be considered.

• Possess a valid Malaysian driving license

• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia

• Willing to travel to different project sites when required

• Fresh graduates with relevant qualifications are encouraged to apply (training provided)

• Priority for candidates residing in Johor (especially Kluang)

• Ability to start immediately is an added advantage
