Job summary

YonMing Group in Sungai Buloh, Selangor, is seeking a responsible HR Assistant to join our Human Resources team. The role will primarily administer foreign worker and expatriate matters while supporting day-to-day HR operations.

You will coordinate quotas, work permits, passes and registrations, maintain HR records, and liaise with government agencies and service providers. The position offers opportunities to contribute to HR events and activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Administration or related field.
• Hands-on experience in handling foreign worker and expatriate matters in Malaysia.
• Good organisational and time-management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills when dealing with employees and external parties.

Responsibilities

• Handle foreign worker and expatriate administration, including quota applications and replacements.
• Manage work permits, passes and passport applications and renewals.
• Coordinate FOMEMA registrations and medical examinations.
• Maintain and update the Foreign Worker & Expatriate Master File and related records.
• Update information in HR system, SOCSO portal and government portals.
• Liaise with government departments, agents and service providers.
• Support general HR administrative tasks and HR system updates.
• Assist in HR events, training programmes and employee activities.
