Job summary

Sunway Medical Centre Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya is seeking a front office coordinator to manage patient registration, reception, billing and appointments for Wellness Screening packages. You will handle inquiries, explain coverage and GLs, and coordinate reminders to ensure smooth visits.

You will also support reporting, upsell services, and assist with promotions while upholding SOPs and quality standards. English and Bahasa Malaysia proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in healthcare, hospital, front office, or customer service.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer-oriented, patient, proactive, and a good team player.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in promoting Wellness Screening packages will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily front office operations, including patient registration, reception, billing, appointments, and Wellness Screening packages.
• Attend to patients’ enquiries and provide clear information on screening packages, payment methods, insurance coverage, and Guarantee Letters (GL).
• Coordinate appointment confirmations and reminders through phone calls and SMS.
• Ensure accurate patient information, charges, and system updates.
• Support daily and monthly reporting, including departmental census and sales tracking.
• Promote and upsell Wellness Centre services and screening packages.
• Support departmental promotional activities, including roadshows, exhibitions, and booth events.
• Ensure consistent service delivery in accordance with departmental SOPs, policies, and quality standards.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth operations and a positive patient experience.
• Provide guidance and support to junior team members and assist with new staff orientation.
