Job summary

Sunway Medical Centre Penang is seeking a proactive Marketing and Business Development Executive to promote hospital services and build strong relationships with corporate clients, insurers, and TPAs. You will help design marketing strategies, coordinate events, and maintain client data to drive growth and strengthen our brand presence.

Responsibilities

You will assist in marketing strategies, organize events, maintain client data, and gather market intelligence to support business growth and enhance our brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in planning and executing marketing action plans for insurance companies and TPA networks.

Organize health talks, engagement events, hospital tours, and presentations to promote hospital services and consultants.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client and patient referral records.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and agents through regular visits and engagement programs.

Attend to client feedback, resolve issues promptly, and promote value-added services.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and clients’ needs to provide insights for business growth.

Provide weekly reports on marketing activities, client updates, and follow-up actions.

Participate in quality improvement initiatives and comply with safety, health, and environmental policies.

Requirements

Degree in Marketing, Business, Medicine/Health Sciences, or related fields.

Preferably 1 year of relevant work experience; experience with corporate clients or insurance panels is an advantage.

Exposure to healthcare services or hospital operations is a plus.

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and/or Mandarin-speaking candidates who will be serving Mandarin-speaking customers.

Event planning and management skills (physical & virtual).

Detail-oriented, analytical, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Team player, creative, and able to work under pressure.

Willingness to work on weekends as needed for events.
