Job summary

RCL Agencies (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Executive, Transshipment (SIN) to supervise and coordinate transshipment activities in Klang. The role involves ensuring correct import declarations, forecasting for export vessels, and timely submission of manifests to SIN Custom.

Responsibilities

• Check connecting vessel transshipment cargo and ensure import declarations are correct.
• Provide forecast to partner for export vessel – 3 days before vessel ETA.
• Submit EDI Manifest to SIN Custom (Import – 24 hours before vessel ETA / Export – 24 hours after vessel depart).
• Renomination (transfer) upon request from trade due to over allocation, misconnection, vessel OMIT etc.
• Close EZDL (Svc RLI & AFS) / EZLL (Svc AFS) close within 18 hrs time frame.
• Check Storage charges incurred due to vessel overbooking.
• Matched Vendors’ invoices to close IPV verification.
• Liaise with Trade, Procurement, IJS and Schedule Team for AFS Shipment (Ad hoc Feeder Shipment on CCA Vessel).
• Liaise with RCL Trade team for transferring of transshipment containers when vessel overbooked.
• Monitor all declaration was done correctly (POD and the 2nd carrier).
• Ensure submission of transshipment advice before vessel's closing time.

Job Responsibility:

• Checking connecting vessel for transshipment cargo to make sure import team declare correctly in port system before closing time.
• Provide forecast to partner for export vessel – 3 days before vessel ETA.

Job Scope:

• Liaise with RCL Trade team for transferring of transshipment containers when vessel overbooked.
• Monitor all declaration was done correctly (POD and the 2nd carrier)
  • Ensure the submission of transshipment advice before vessel's closing time.
  • Receive Transshipment Advice from Port of Loading and for loading of CCA (Svc AFS) vessel, place booking with vessel operator and revert connecting 2nd carrier details to POL.
  • For RCL / Joint Services / Slot Exchange Vessel - Import, receive loaded container(s) confirmation advice from Operations Department at least 24 hours before 1st Carrier takes berth. Check against DCS / Booking load list and ensure 2nd vessels, port of discharge nominate correctly. If not, perform vessel renomination in DCS.
• For CCA Vessel - Import, submit Import Status to Carrier’s Agent 24 hours before 1st Carrier has taken berth for proper declaration to Port’s Authority. Check against DCS - Booking load list and ensure 2nd vessels, port of discharge nominate correctly. If not, perform vessel renomination in DCS.
• Prepare Transshipment Permit application for Cartridges when required. (Arms and Explosives)
• If 2nd vessel overbooked, Trade Team will send transfer lists / roll lists.
• Perform vessel renomination both in DCS and Portnet and inform POL and POD.
• If shipper request change of destination, POL / POD will notify all charges incurred and next intended 2nd vessel. Perform vessel renomination both in DCS and Portnet after shipper confirmation.
• Request VSS Team to create sailing in DCS for AFS service – schedule provide by partner.
• Create IJS - Intermodal Job Order System in DCS for CCA vessel using "AFS" service name before 2nd vessel arriving POD.
• Close and submit DCS - CCA vessels EZDL (Svc RLI) / EZLL (Svc AFS), arrival and departure, TOS / SHS costs maintenance.
