Job summary

MSC in Johor is seeking a logistics professional to handle all transshipment transactions and coordinate loading and discharging figures on vessels. You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and report to the Cargo Flow Management Manager. Fresh graduates are welcome; a Diploma or degree in Logistics/Maritime is preferred.

Proficiency in MS Office and strong communication skills are essential in a fast-paced environment at MSC.

Job description

To handle all transshipment transactions.

Good coordination between internal and external stakeholders.

Co-ordinate, check and consolidate all the loading and discharging figures on vessels.

Well verse of transshipment processes and requirements.

Any other duty assigned by the reporting Manager.

Reports to: Cargo Flow Management Manager

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Logistics / Maritime.

Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. Candidate with the relevant work experience / transhipment transhipment environment / shipping operations will be an added advantage.

Possesses strong attention to detail along with good problem-solving skills while displaying enthusiasm and commitment.

Excellent in teamwork, strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize multiple demands as well as strong communication skills at all levels to meet internal and external customers’ demands.

Candidate must have the ability to operate in a changing environment with high volumes of work, fast learner, and strong desire to learn new things

Excellent in both spoken and written English.

Proficient in MS Office applications
