Job summary

TITIMAS MULTIMODAL TRANSPORT SDN BHD in Port Klang is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage daily bookings, monitor vessel cut-off times, and open transport jobs in the Freight Systems for import and export deliveries.

You will also handle ROT/RFC requests, assist with detention/demurrage claims, update export VGM, and respond to customer inquiries on special arrangements. We value reliability, timely communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced port environment.

Qualifications

• SPM or higher qualification required.
• Minimum 1 year of logistics/transportation experience.
• Familiar with haulage environment and shipping documents.
• Airfreight experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check and receive daily booking confirmations from Customer Service.
• Monitor vessel closing times in Port System and inform respective departments.
• Open jobs in Smart Freight System / Port Klang Net for Import and Export delivery.
• Request ROT / Delivery RFC / Return Depot from Import and Export Department.
• Attend detention and demurrage claims when required.
• Attend SSR / Waiting Charges Claims when requested by Export.
• Attend and follow up container damage claims when required.
• Update export VGM for Northport and Westport on daily basis.
• Attend direct enquiries from customers for transportation on special arrangement.
• Prepare Monthly Objective Report.
• Prepare Monthly Haulage Import and Export Report.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job description

• Open job in Smart Freight System / Port Klang Net for Import and Export delivery. This need to be updated from time to time;


• Request for Request of Transport (ROT) / Delivery, RFC / Return Depot from Import and Export Department;


• Attend detention and demurrage claim (if required);


• Attending SSR / Waiting Charges Claim when required by Export Department;


• Attending and follow up container damage claim when required;


• Update export VGM for Northport and Westport on daily basis accordingly;


• Attending direct enquiry from customers for transportation on special arrangement;


• Prepare Monthly Objective Report;


• Prepare Monthly Haulage Import and Export Report;


• Perform other duties and responsibilities as and when assigned by superior / management.

Requirements

• Possess at least SPM or above.


• Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics/transportation.


• Familiar with haulage environment.


• Solid knowledge of FCL and LCL shipping documents, customs clearance, and local transportation. Airfreight experience is a plus.


• Efficient multitasking with good communications and time management skills.


• Adaptable and resilient in high-stress and rapid work conditions.
