Job summary

QL Eco Farm Sdn Bhd invites applications for a Snr. Supervisor, QAQC (FEEDMILL & EGGHOUSE) in the Quality Department.

The role supervises implementation of food safety policies, manages the Quality Management System on site, and collaborates with production to meet QMS standards. The successful candidate will identify defects, ensure compliance with MeSTI, HACCP, GMP, and related standards, maintain hygiene and sanitation, perform IPQC checks on shell eggs and liquid eggs, and supervise PPE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant food science discipline is required.
• At least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
• Knowledge of food safety compliances and QMS requirements.
• Proactive and versatile with initiative; able to work independently or multidisciplinary.
• Dynamic, optimistic, good team player with computer skills.

Responsibilities

• FIFO / Ageing Eggs inspection and do Quality Passed label on any off-specification.
• Monitor Housekeeping in all processing area that need to follow food safety compliance during QC inspection and update to the team.

JOB DESCRIPTION – Snr. Supervisor, QAQC (FEEDMILL & EGGHOUSE) – Quality Department

(Egghouse)

• Supervise for the implementation of food safety policies and quality procedures on site.
• Responsible for the Quality Management System (QMS) on site and work with production team to achieve the QMS.
• Identify defects and non-conformities for any misconduct or unusual process that against the food safety compliance (MeSTI, HACCP, GMP & ETC) to leader with good corrective action and its implementation.
• Ensure the proficiency and qualification of food product with low product complaint.
• Responsible to maintain the hygiene, cleaning & sanitation checking and its implementation on site.
• Do quality checking on shell eggs & Liquid eggs and run IPQC record and key-in data.
• Supervise the workers and assist staff in wearing PPE and awareness.
• FIFO / Ageing Eggs inspection and do Quality Passed label on any off-specification.
• Monitor Housekeeping in all processing area that need to follow food safety compliance during QC inspection and update to the team.
• Control the usage of chemical in/out from chemical storage and check record.
• Key-in data from all record sheets and checklist intended within specific timeline
• Do internal verification for CCPs record in egghouse that will be validated by superior.
• Performing internal and external audit to determine the compliance of food safety/HACCP/GMP and other identified areas for improvement.
• Assist the pest control management monthly and do weekly record checking towards the station.
• Follows the lab sampling prepared by leader to ensure all parameters followed correctly

(Feedmill)

• Ensure all Raw Materia (Premix & Bulk Material) inspection run smoothly whenever new raw materials comes in and do sampling.
• Ensure the finished feed produced by production within the Quality Specification guideline.
• Responsible on daily checking for labelling and FIFO storage in production.
• Ensure to run the housekeeping by schedule from leader and update to the team.
• Run lab testing following schedule from leader based on feedmill requirement.
• Making sure safety as top priorities in feedmill work station and follows PPE required in production.
• Monitor calibration record machineries in feedmill site that need to be renew.
• Maintain & improve the rodent control program weekly for external and internal process.
• Any misconduct that are void the quality spec ification need to immediate update to superior and put label on the items.
• Update to superior based on task force needed by requirement.

Job Specification

• Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Halal Industry and any related to similar courses.
• Possess at least 2 years of working experience in the related field.
• Knowledge in food safety compliances and QMS requirements.
• Proactive and versatile with strong initiative and the ability to work independently or multidisciplinary.
• Dynamic, optimistic, good team player, self-motivated, fast learner and competent in computer skills.
