Mewah Group is seeking a meticulous Payment Executive to manage payment processes across subsidiaries. You will verify vouchers, ensure SOP compliance, and prevent discrepancies while maintaining thorough records for audits.
You will also support monthly closings, assist daily accounting operations, and drive internal-control improvements. Travel overseas (Africa/India) 2–3 months per trip, up to 4–6 months annually.
We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Payment Executive to manage and oversee payment processes across subsidiaries. This role ensures that all payments are accurate, properly supported, and fully compliant with company policies and procedures.
Review and verify payment vouchers and supporting documents
Ensure all payments comply with established SOPs
Identify and resolve discrepancies or incomplete documentation
Prevent duplicate, erroneous, or fraudulent payments
Perform payment approval duties for subsidiary accounts
Ensure proper use of sub-accounts in line with company guidelines
Maintain accurate records of payments and cancelled cheques
Report any non-compliance or exceptions to management
Prepare regular reports on payment activities and findings
Maintain clear and accurate documentation for audit purposes
Perform timely and accurate accounting entries
Support monthly closing and financial reporting activities
Assist with daily accounting operations
Review existing procedures and recommend improvements
Support initiatives to strengthen internal controls
Willing to travel overseas, including Africa and India
Travel duration: 2–3 months per trip, up to 4–6 months per year
Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and take ownership
Good communication skills (written and verbal)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
