Job summary

Mewah Group in Malaysia seeks a senior Network & Service Desk Lead to ensure reliable, secure IT infrastructure across operations. You will manage network operations, incident resolution, and service desk performance while guiding a team of IT engineers.

You will drive ITIL-based service management, continuous improvement, and collaboration with vendors and stakeholders across multi-site manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in IT/CS/Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in network infra and IT support with leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, WiFi, VPN, and ITSM.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Network & Service Desk operations and ensure SLA achievement.
• Manage enterprise network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, WiFi, VPN, routers, switches, firewalls).
• Act as escalation point for complex technical issues and major incidents.
• Monitor network performance, security, and system availability.
• Coach and develop a team of IT Engineers and Specialists.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive ITIL-based service management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

Lead the Network & Service Desk team to ensure reliable, secure, and high-performing IT infrastructure and support services across business operations. You will manage network operations, service desk performance, incident resolution, and team development while driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead daily Network & Service Desk operations and ensure SLA achievement.
• Manage enterprise network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, WiFi, VPN, routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Act as the escalation point for complex technical issues and major incidents.
• Monitor network performance, security, and system availability.
• Coach, mentor, and develop a team of IT Engineers and Specialists.
• Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders.
• Drive ITIL-based service management and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in network infrastructure and IT support, with leadership exposure.
• Strong knowledge of networking, firewalls, WiFi, VPN, and IT service management.
• Experience in manufacturing or multi-site operations is an added advantage.
• ITIL, CCNA, CCNP, or Fortinet certifications are preferred.
