Job summary

Mewah Group, a leading integrated agri-business in edible oils and fats, invites a skilled Executive to manage shipping and trade processing from Pulau Indah. You will monitor trade operations, verify trade confirmations, and coordinate MPOB declarations within timelines, while ensuring adherence to import/export regulations.

The role requires a degree in business, logistics, or related field, plus at least one year in shipping or trade processing.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, logistics, supply chain, information management or related field.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in shipping, logistics, trade processing or related role.
  • Fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn and proactive attitude are encouraged.
  • Knowledge of shipping terms and international trade practices including Incoterms.
  • Familiarity with palm oil industry regulations and requirements (PORAM, MPOB, MEOMA, FOSFA).
  • Knowledge of import/export statutory and legal requirements.
  • Strong command of English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical and highly organized with good problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and ensure trade processing operations run smoothly and accurately.
  • Verify information in purchase and sales trade confirmations before issuance to buyers/sellers.
  • Ensure MPOB contract details are declared within timelines.
  • Prepare, review, and coordinate shipping and trade-related documentation.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely trade/shipping execution.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and import/export regulations.

Executive, Shipping - Trade Processing (Based Pulau Indah)

Monitor and ensure Trade Processing operations are carried out smoothly, efficiently, and accurately.

Verify all information in purchase and sales trade confirmations before issuance to buyers and sellers.

Ensure contract details are declared to the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) within the stipulated timeline.

Prepare, review, and coordinate shipping and trade-related documentation.

Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely execution of trade and shipping activities.

Ensure compliance with company policies, import/export regulations, and industry requirements.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Management, or a related field.

Minimum 1 year of working experience in shipping, logistics, trade processing, or a related role.

Fresh graduates with a strong willingness to learn, proactive attitude, and keen interest in shipping and trade operations are encouraged to apply.

Knowledge of shipping terms and international trade practices, including Incoterms.

Familiarity with palm oil industry regulations and requirements, including PORAM, MPOB, MEOMA, and FOSFA rules.

Knowledge of import/export statutory and legal requirements.

Good command of English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
