Mewah Group is seeking an Executive Commercial (Shipping Department) in Malaysia to support trade operations by ensuring complete, accurate, and compliant trade information and documentation. The role focuses on reviewing trade documents, maintaining data integrity across systems, and aligning with government regulations.

We are looking for a detail-oriented Executive, Commercial to support trade operations by ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and consistency of trade-related information, contracts, and regulatory submissions. The role is responsible for reviewing trade documentation, maintaining data integrity across internal systems, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and government regulatory requirements.
Review Daily Trade Listing and trade information to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Ensure timely issuance of Sales & Purchase Confirmations.
Process and verify trade confirmation, trade amendments and cancellations.
Maintain accurate and consistent trade data in company systems.
Ensure compliance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.
Support the department in ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
Participate in ad hoc projects, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional assignments as required by the department.
Support digitalization and automation initiatives, including the adoption of AI-enabled tools to enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy.
Assist in transfer pricing related data compilation, documentation, and reporting requirements where applicable.
Bachelor’s Degree in Maritime Studies, Logistics, Shipping, or related disciplines
Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity
Good written and verbal communication skills
Strong coordination and problem‑solving abilities
Basic understanding of maritime laws, customs requirements, and Incoterms
Familiarity with vessel operations is an advantage
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
Preferably 1–2 years of experience in vegetable oil trade or shipping
Familiarity with AI tools and digital platforms will be an added advantage.
Maritime or logistics‑related certifications
Prior experience in vegetable oil trading or shipping industry
