Jora Malaysia is seeking a proactive HR professional based in Alor Gajah, Melaka to manage foreign workers' affairs from recruitment to departure. The role involves preparing recruitment documents, work permit applications, and coordinating with immigration and other authorities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Responsible for the HR operational matters in relations to foreign workers, from the application, recruitment, welfare until termination of contact and departure.
Preparing all the necessary documents for recruitment of foreign workers such as getting the quota approval, application of work permit and exit management of foreign worker, and submit it on time.
Liaising with Immigration Department, government agency, local authority, airport and etc in handling all matters related to foreign workers.
Managing and arranging hostel for local and foreign employees and ensuring the hostel are well-maintained and comply with Employee’s Minimum Standard of Housing, Accommodation and Amenities Act 1990 (Act 446) and other related laws and regulations.
Managing and handling foreign workers' issue in relation to disciplinary, complaint, grievances and etc, and ensuring they comply with Company rules and policies.
Liaising and giving counseling to foreign workers for any issues arise.
Handling and processing foreign workers accident claim with insurance company if there are any accident happen at company or outside of company.
Reporting and liaising with police for any issues related foreign workers such as snatching cases, social problem and etc.
Executing and ensuring the implementation and administration of HR policies, handbook, SOP, OPL, practices, work instruction and etc.
Coordinating in HR communications to company and relevant departments.
Assisting and supporting recruitment activities.
Recommending any changes desirable or necessary for more effective employment process and practice.
Attending to any emergency situation and handle any ad hoc task when assigned.
Undertakes any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior and/or Company.
The ideal candidate will have:
Possess at least a Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Studies or equivalent, or demonstrated equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of 2 years of working experience in the managing foreign workers affair or in manufacturing environment or in the related field.
Sound knowledge in HR related statutory requirements and regulations, recruitment procedure of foreign workers and other prevailing HR practices and legislation.
Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision and also be a good team player where frequent collaboration across functional teams is necessary.
Highly versatile, able handle pressure at work, able to anticipate heavy workload to meet close deadlines while maintaining a positive work attitude.
Good interpersonal skill, pleasant personality, well-groomed and mature disposition.
Reliable, dedicated, trustworthy, attention to details and a self-starter.
Good problem solving, planning, organization and multi-tasking skills.
Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Malay.
Computer literate, proficient with Microsoft Office, other relevant software and application.
To be based in Alor Gajah, Melaka.
Able and willing to travel outstation and overseas when required.
