Job summary

Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the Mesra Mall food court and F&B outlets, ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and regulatory standards while maintaining efficiency. You will support tenants and prepare operational and sales reports.

The role requires a Diploma in F&B Services Management or equivalent, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Check and audit hygiene and cleanliness standards for food court tenants and F&B outlets to ensure compliance.
• Monitor Safety and Hygiene requirements including food handling practices and HACCP.
• Prepare, monitor and control operating budget.
• Provide guidance and operational support to resolve challenges and service issues.
• Ensure Safety and Hygiene meetings and Management Reviews are conducted as planned.
• Provide operational service support including beverages stocks, pest control, and maintenance to retailers.

Job description

To oversee and support the day-to-day operations of Mesra Mall's food court and F&B outlets by ensuring compliance with food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and regulatory requirements, maintaining operational efficiency, supporting tenants, and preparing operational and sales reports.

Responsibilities

Check and audit the hygiene and cleanliness standards for Mesra Mall Food-court tenants and F&B retailers to ensure compliance with company requirements and regulatory standards.

Monitor the Safety and Hygiene requirements including food handling practices, typhoid vaccination records, HACCP implementation & GCP practices.

Prepare, monitor and control operating budget.

Provide guidance, support and operational assistance to the Food Operations Supervisor in resolving operational challenges and service issues.

Ensure Safety and Hygiene (eg. HACCP) meeting & Management Review are carried out as planned.

Provide operational service support including beverages stocks supply, pest control services, grease pipe maintenance to retailers and other related support functions.

Check on maintenance and serviceability of operating equipment to ensure smooth daily operations.

Manage and oversee the cleaning services vendors to ensure cleanliness standards are maintained.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Food & Beverage Services Management or equivalent.

At least 3 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Must be proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia, other languages will be an added advantage.

Must be able to work on shifts and Public Holidays.

Experience in HACCP implementation and audit are required.

Preference will be given to candidates with relevant experience, particularly those based in East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia.
