Job summary

Mason & Co in Klang Valley is seeking an experienced F&B Operations Manager to oversee the mall food court, ensure quality service, and drive improvements. You will lead the F&B team, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with food safety standards while traveling between Klang Valley.

Qualified candidates have 5+ years in F&B/operations, strong leadership, and experience with cost control and vendor management; English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin are preferred.

• Monitor sales, budgets, costs, productivity and staff performance to hit targets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Review operations and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and experience.

About the Job

Looking for a F&B Operations Manager who oversee the daily operations of the shopping mall’s food court, ensuring smooth operations, quality service, tenant satisfaction, and compliance with food safety standards. The role will lead the F&B team, monitor sales and operational performance, and drive improvements to enhance customer experience and achieve business targets

Working location

Klang Valley and willing to travel between Klang Valley

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the shopping mall’s food court, ensuring quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
• Manage food court tenants/vendors and maintain positive relationships while addressing operational concerns.
• Lead, supervise, train, and motivate the F&B team to ensure effective performance and service delivery.
• Monitor sales performance, budgets, costs, productivity, and staff performance to achieve business targets.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, hygiene, and operational standards.
• Handle customer complaints and operational issues, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
• Review operations and identify improvements to enhance efficiency, customer experience, and overall food court performance.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Food & Beverage, Restaurant, Food Court, or Hospitality Operations
• Strong leadership, people management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree is preferred. Candidates with extensive relevant industry experience are encouraged to apply.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and cost control
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
• Possess own transport and be willing to travel between Klang Valley.
