Job summary

Hartalega is seeking an Accounts Receivable professional to manage the end-to-end AR process and support month-end closings. The role involves recording customer payments, aging analyses, and resolving billing discrepancies across internal teams.

Candidate should have a degree in accounting or a professional qualification, with knowledge of FRs and Malaysia e-Invoice requirements. Fresh graduates or 1 year of experience encouraged to apply, onsite in Sepang.

• Knowledge of Malaysia e-Invoice requirements.

Responsibilities

• Record and apply customer payments.
• Check accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue balances.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to resolve billing discrepancies and payment issues.
• Maintain AR records, including bank reconciliations and audit documentation.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including AR–GL reconciliation.
• Manage credit control activities and monitor customer payment behavior.
• Liaise with bankers on letters of credit and banking transactions.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• Manage other related duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, MICPA), or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or minimum 1 year of relevant working experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge and understanding of accounts receivable processes, including invoicing, collections, cash application, and account reconciliation.
• Proficient in Financial Reporting Standards (FRS).
• Practical knowledge of Malaysia e-Invoice requirements.
