Job summary

Malaysia Marine & Heavy Engineering is hiring for an entry‑level IT Operations role in Johor. The candidate will support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook/Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), manage user access, and assist in server/data center tasks under the guidance of the Senior Executive - Server Platform.

Fresh graduates or those with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome. This full‑time position is based on-site in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, within MMHE's ICT governance

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and support Microsoft 365 services (Outlook/Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) to ensure stable daily business operations.
• Execute user access management, mailbox configuration, Teams collaboration support, SharePoint permissions, and OneDrive synchronization support.
• Support Senior Executive - Server Platform in server and data center operations through basic health checks, assigned operational tasks, and escalation support.
• Execute assigned patching, configuration changes, access management, and compliance tasks in line with MMHE and MISC Group ICT policies and standards.
• Support backup, restore, and recovery activities for Microsoft 365 services and assist server and data center recovery activities as directed.
• Support the review and update of existing O365, server, and data center policies, procedures, SOPs, and technical documentation.
• Execute approved O365 service improvements, resolve O365 incidents, and support server and data center incident resolution through escalation and assigned actions.
• Work collaboratively with the other Executive to ensure backup coverage, knowledge sharing, and service continuity.

• Microsoft 365 Services Operations: Responsible for day-to-day operation, monitoring, and support of Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook/Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and related collaboration services.
• O365 User Support & Administration: Provides administration and technical support for Microsoft 365 user services, including access management, mailbox configuration, Teams collaboration, SharePoint permissions, and OneDrive synchronization.
• Server & Data Center Operational Support: Supports the Senior Executive - Server Platform in server and data center operations through basic health checks, assigned operational tasks, and escalation support.
• System Maintenance, Cybersecurity & Governance Support: Executes assigned patching, configuration changes, access management, and operational compliance activities in line with approved MMHE and MISC Group ICT policies, standards, and governance.
• Policy, Procedure & Documentation Support: Supports the review and update of existing Microsoft 365, server, and data center policies, procedures, work instructions, and technical documentation to ensure consistent and compliant operations.
• Operational Support, Continuous Improvement & Incident Resolution: Supports daily Microsoft 365 operations, executes approved service improvement initiatives, resolves Microsoft 365 incidents, and supports server and data center incident resolution through escalation and assigned actions, while working collaboratively with the other Executive for backup coverage.
