Job summary

The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre is operated by Convex Malaysia Sdn Bhd. We are seeking a dynamic Event Coordination Executive on a 1-year contract to support all stages of events, from pre-event preparation to onsite coordination and post-event processes, ensuring accurate documentation and proactive client engagement.

The role covers move-in/move-out planning, space setup with housekeeping, security, technical support and catering, and collaboration with internal teams and external partners

Responsibilities

• Event Planning & Documentation: Plans daily event coordination activities, including scheduling customer meetings and maintaining Event Sheets and Service Orders.
• Operational Coordination & Onsite Support: Conducts customer and contractor meetings, room inspections, and event briefings; coordinates setup of event spaces with housekeeping, security, technical support, and catering.
• Interdepartmental & Supplier Coordination: Liaises with internal teams (Asset, Security, Catering, Culinary, Operations) to ensure timely delivery of event services and communicates changes and risks to stakeholders.
