Job summary

Sunway Multicare Pharmacy in Selangor is seeking a proactive Events and Marketing Operations Specialist to manage warehousing, inventory, and on-site support for promotional activities. You will coordinate marketing materials, oversee stock levels, and distribute assets for events, while coordinating with internal teams and vendors to meet event requirements.

Job description

This role involves managing marketing materials and inventory, coordinating event logistics, and providing on-site operational support to ensure successful event execution and a positive customer experience.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Warehouse & Inventory

Manage the receiving, storage, issuance, and return of marketing materials and event equipment.

Organize and maintain the marketing warehouse to ensure materials are properly stored and easily accessible.

Prepare, pack, and distribute event materials, promotional items, and marketing assets for events and transfers between retail outlets.

Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records.

2. Event Coordination

Ensure all event materials, promotional items, and equipment are prepared before each event.

Support event setup and dismantling to ensure smooth event operations.

Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure event requirements are fulfilled.

3. On-Site Event Operations

Provide on-site operational support throughout events to ensure a seamless customer experience.

Manage event registration, redemption counters, cashiering, and promotional activities.

Support customer engagement activities during events and other promotional activities.

Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.

Job Requirements:

Minimum Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Event Management, Business Administration, or related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in event coordination, logistics, warehouse/store operations, or retail operations is preferred.

Experience in event setup, inventory/stock management, and on-site event coordination will be an advantage.

Experience in the Pharmacy, Healthcare, Retail, or FMCG industry will be an advantage.

Possess own vehicle and be willing to travel for work-related purposes.

Able to work on weekends, public holidays, and evenings when supporting events.

Comfortable with event setup, stock handling, and warehouse-related tasks.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
