Job summary

B2BE is seeking a Data Integration Specialist to support ERP system integrations with customers' platforms in Malaysia. You will translate ERP processes and document flows into clear integration requirements, spanning APIs, EDI, and data mapping.

You will collaborate with customers, project teams and developers to ensure smooth data exchanges, define mappings, document workflows, and drive reusable integration solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience with ERP systems, EDI, or business integration.
• Ability to understand transaction workflows and document formats.
• Familiarity with API documentation and data mapping.

Responsibilities

• Understand ERP processes and transaction workflows across systems.

We are looking for a Data Integration Specialist to support the integration of our platform with customers' ERP systems.

This role focuses on business transaction and document integration — understanding how information flows between different ERP systems and our platform through APIs, EDI and data mapping.

You will work closely with customers, project teams and software developers to understand ERP business processes, document workflows, API structures and data requirements, and translate them into clear integration requirements and solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand and analyse business processes and transaction workflows within different ERP systems.
• Analyse ERP APIs, including endpoints, request/response structures, data formats and business rules.
• Work with EDI and other structured business document formats.
• Define and maintain source-to-target data mapping between ERP systems and our platform.
• Understand field-level relationships, mandatory/optional fields, data formats and transformation rules.
• Work closely with developers to communicate integration requirements and support implementation.
• Prepare integration specifications, data mapping documents and workflow documentation.
• Work with project teams and customers to clarify requirements and resolve integration issues.
• Identify opportunities to improve integration processes and develop reusable integration solutions

Requirements

• Experience with ERP systems, EDI, system integration or business application integration.
• Understanding of business documents and transactional workflows.
• Experience with API-based integration and ability to understand API documentation.
• Experience in data mapping, field mapping or data transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to work with customers, developers and project teams.
• Comfortable working with technical documentation and translating business requirements into integration specifications.
