Job summary

Dalstech is seeking an ERP Application Consultant to join our Johor Bahru team. You will implement, configure and optimise ERP systems to help clients streamline operations and drive business growth.

This role combines technical ERP know-how with consultancy, requiring you to work independently and with cross-functional teams to deliver effective solutions and support ongoing optimisation for diverse clients across Asia-Pacific.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in IT, CS, Business or related field, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, MS Dynamics or NetSuite.
• Knowledge of core business processes across Finance, SCM, HR or Operations.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Project management experience and ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Customer-focused mindset and stakeholder management.
• ERP certifications or related training (preferred).
• Experience with change management and process improvement (desirable).

Dalstech is seeking an ERP Application Consultant to join our growing team in the Johor Bahru, Johor, Malaysia. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to work with enterprise resource planning systems and support organisations in optimising their business processes. As an ERP Application Consultant, you will be at the forefront of digital transformation, helping clients implement, configure and enhance their ERP systems to drive operational efficiency and business growth. This role combines technical expertise with consultancy skills, requiring you to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet client objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse client business requirements and translate them into ERP system configurations and solutions
• Design and document functional specifications for ERP implementations and enhancements
• Conduct requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand current processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Configure ERP modules and customise system functionality to align with client needs
• Support testing activities, including system integration testing and user acceptance testing
• Provide training and documentation to end-users to ensure successful system adoption
• Troubleshoot and resolve ERP-related issues in collaboration with technical teams
• Maintain detailed project documentation and maintain knowledge management resources
• Participate in post-implementation support and assist clients with ongoing optimisation
• Stay current with ERP system updates, industry best practices and emerging technologies

What we're looking for

• Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• Strong functional knowledge of at least one major ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics or NetSuite
• Solid understanding of business processes across modules such as Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources or Operations
• Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, process design and system configuration
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
• Project management experience and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused mindset with strong stakeholder management capabilities
• Professional ERP certification or relevant training qualifications (preferred but not essential)
• Experience with change management and business process improvement methodologies (desirable)
