Job summary

Oxydata Software Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a Network Pre-Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise to the sales team, qualify leads, and design network solutions that address customer requirements.

Your role includes delivering effective sales and product presentations, conducting POC and product demonstrations, and preparing Bills of Materials for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions. A 3+ years track record in enterprise networking is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong understanding of DNS & NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
• Own transport and willingness to travel around Klang Valley.
• Experience with pre-sales solution design for enterprise networking products (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• Experience supporting sales teams in technical pre-sales or solution architect roles.
• Familiarity with preparing BOM for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.
• Deliver effective sales and product presentations to prospective clients.
• Conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and product demonstrations.
• Provide technology updates and technical guidance to customers.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
• Act as the main technical resource for customer inquiries regarding features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
• Collaborate with principals, internal sales teams, and product teams to ensure solution designs align with customer requirements.
