Oxydata Software is seeking a Network Pre-Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise to the sales team and design solutions for enterprise customers in Malaysia. The role requires hands-on POC delivery, BOM preparation, and close collaboration with product and sales teams to tailor networking solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in pre-sales or solution architecture, strong DNS/NFS/SMTP/HTTP/TCP-IP knowledge, and willingness to travel across Klang Valley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in network pre-sales or solution architecture.
• Must have legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• Strong knowledge of DNS/NFS, SMTP, HTTP and TCP/IP.
• Own transport and willingness to travel around Klang Valley.
• Experience with pre-sales design for enterprise networking (Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet).
• Experience supporting sales teams in technical pre-sales or solution architecture roles.
• Familiarity with BOM for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.

We are seeking an experienced Network Pre-Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise and support to the sales team, qualifying leads and designing solutions that address customer requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.
• Deliver effective sales and product presentations to prospective clients.
• Conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and product demonstrations.
• Provide technology updates and technical guidance to customers.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
• Act as the main technical resource for customer inquiries regarding features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
• Collaborate with principals, internal sales teams, and product teams to ensure solution designs align with customer requirements.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong understanding of DNS & NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel around Klang Valley.
• Experience with pre-sales solution design for enterprise networking products (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• Experience supporting sales teams in technical pre-sales or solution architect roles.
• Familiarity with preparing Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
