Job summary

Oxydata & TechTalent is seeking an experienced Network Pre-Sales Engineer to support the sales team in designing solutions for enterprise networking. Based in Petaling Jaya, you will qualify leads, deliver product presentations, run POC demonstrations, and collaborate with vendors to tailor BOMs for RFQ/RFP submissions.

The role requires a bachelor's or professional degree in CS/IT, at least three years of relevant pre-sales experience, strong knowledge of DNS/NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP, and

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in network pre-sales.
• Legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• Experience with pre-sales design for enterprise networking products (Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet).

Responsibilities

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.
• Deliver effective sales and product presentations to prospective clients.
• Conduct POC and product demonstrations.
• Provide technology updates and technical guidance to customers.
• Prepare BOMs for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
• Act as the main technical resource for customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with principals, internal sales teams, and product teams to align designs with requirements.

We are seeking an experienced Network Pre-Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise and support to the sales team, qualifying leads and designing solutions that address customer requirements.

Network Pre-Sales Engineer

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Assist in qualifying sales leads from a technical perspective.
• Deliver effective sales and product presentations to prospective clients.
• Conduct Proof-Of-Concept (POC) and product demonstrations.
• Provide technology updates and technical guidance to customers.
• Prepare Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
• Act as the main technical resource for customer inquiries regarding features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
• Collaborate with principals, internal sales teams, and product teams to ensure solution designs align with customer requirements.

Requirements

Must-have:

• Bachelor's Degree or Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant working experience.
• Applicants must have the legal right to work in Malaysia. Visa sponsorship is not available.
• Strong understanding of DNS & NFS, SMTP, HTTP, and TCP/IP.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel around Klang Valley.
• Experience with pre-sales solution design for enterprise networking products (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
• Experience supporting sales teams in technical pre-sales or solution architect roles.
• Familiarity with preparing Bill of Materials (B.O.M) for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
