Job summary

Oxydata Software is seeking a Network Pre-Sales Engineer to provide technical expertise to the sales team and design solutions for enterprise customers in Malaysia. The role requires hands-on POC delivery, BOM preparation, and close collaboration with product and sales teams to tailor networking solutions.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years in pre-sales or solution architecture, strong DNS/NFS/SMTP/HTTP/TCP-IP knowledge, and willingness to travel across Klang Valley.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Professional Degree in CS/IT or equivalent.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in network pre-sales or solution architecture.
• Must have legal right to work in Malaysia; visa sponsorship not available.
• Strong knowledge of DNS/NFS, SMTP, HTTP and TCP/IP.
• Own transport and willingness to travel around Klang Valley.
• Experience with pre-sales design for enterprise networking (Cisco/Juniper/Fortinet).
• Experience supporting sales teams in technical pre-sales or solution architecture roles.
• Familiarity with BOM for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.

Responsibilities

• Qualify sales leads from a technical perspective.
• Deliver sales and product presentations to prospects.
• Conduct POC and product demonstrations.
• Provide technology updates and guidance to customers.
• Prepare BOM for RFQ/RFP/tender submissions.
• Serve as main technical resource for customer inquiries on features and integration.
• Collaborate with principals, sales and product teams to align designs with requirements.
