Job summary

KDDI Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Network Presales Engineer to support the sales team by designing, proposing, and delivering enterprise network solutions.

You will conduct technical consultations, prepare BOQs and proposals, and present solutions to customers, collaborating with sales, project management, and delivery teams. Responsibilities include site surveys, POCs, tender responses, and ensuring solutions meet customer requirements, security standards, and commercial goals,

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in IT/CS/Engineering/Telecommunications or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in network engineering, network presales, ICT solution design, or related technical role.
• Experience preparing technical proposals, network designs, BOQs/BOMs, and tender submissions.
• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, site surveys, and project-related activities.
• Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand business needs and technical requirements.
• Design and propose enterprise networking solutions including LAN/WAN/WLAN/SD-WAN and security.
• Develop high-level/low-level network designs, topology diagrams, and technical specs.
• Prepare technical proposals, BOQs/BOMs, and compliance matrices for tenders.
• Coordinate with distributors, manufacturers, and partners for pricing and support.
• Support sales with technical discussions, solution workshops, and presentations.
• Handover completed solutions to project management and delivery teams.
