Job summary

ByteBridge is seeking a Pre-Sales Engineer – Enterprise IT in Kuala Lumpur to support enterprise IT and data center solutions. You’ll collaborate with sales, customers, partners, and engineering to design IT infrastructure that meets business and technical needs.

The role focuses on solution design and pre-sales rather than daily installation work, involving BOM/BOQ, technical proposals, and tender submissions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Networking, Telecommunications or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant IT infrastructure, solution engineering, technical consulting, or pre-sales experience.
• Experience in pre-sales roles such as Solutions Engineer or Infrastructure Consultant is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise networking, compute/server, storage, and data center technologies.
• Familiarity with vendors like Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Juniper and similar vendors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer requirements with sales team to design IT infrastructure solutions.
• Conduct discovery sessions and translate requirements into IT infrastructure designs.
• Create solution architectures, diagrams, specifications and documentation.
• Prepare BOM/BOQ, technical proposals, responses to RFP/RFQ, and tender submissions.
• Perform solution sizing, product selection, and technical evaluation.
